LEADER: the one who holds the most authority in the clan and reports directly to Glass.
DEPUTY: the leader’s confidante and successor, if they were to lose all their lives or retire. They help the leader to arrange teams and mentor/apprentice pairings. ORACLE: the clan’s biggest link to StarClan... or so they say. BogClan has yet to be given access to the Moonstone. ORACLE APPRENTICE: They are still learning in the ways of an Oracle. It is not uncommon for an Oracle apprentice to undergo up to 12 moons of training. CAPTAINS: individuals in charge of each rank. They have their own team but are also responsible for receiving feedback from other teams. Said feedback is then reported to the deputy. There is a Captain of the Guardians, Captain of the Hunters, and Captain of the Scouts. This rank is considered a sub-HR rank OOC-wise. They are not one of the main four and do not hold sway over anything but what pertains to their rank. GUARDIANS: those responsible for patrolling the borders. They are the fighters of the clan. SCOUTS: cats who explore lands outside of their own clan- save for the swamplands. Some expeditions may be short, and they may be home by the evening, or they may be gone for days on end. HUNTERS: the food providers for the clan. CLAN HELPERS: cats responsible for miscellaneous tasks, such as cleaning up camp, helping to feed more dependent cats, and filling in to ranks they've been trained in as needed if there happens to be a shortage. APPRENTICES: cats 6-12 moons old that are still learning. They may choose which rank they want to train under but are able to switch at any time. All apprentices learn basic combat training at minimum. Many will participate in "rotations." In rotations they will spend one moon in each rank and then the final three moons of their apprenticeship in the one they've decided they want to be when they graduate. KITTENS: those less than 6 moons. ELDERS: cats who have retired; a minimum of 100 moons old. APPRENTICE ROTATIONS; This is optional! If the apprentice already know what rank they want they can spend the entirety of their training with one mentor. If they want to rotate one moon is spent in each rank and then the final three are spent in the one that the apprentice has chosen to be in. Ex: Purplepaw starts his apprenticeship with Redtail (warrior) for April. He goes to Blueheart (scout) for May. Then he goes to Greentoes (hunter) for June. After getting his feet wet in each rank he's decided that he wants to be a scout. He can go back to Blueheart if they don't currently have a new apprentice, or he can be assigned to someone else for July, August, and September to finish his training. On the other hand, Pinkpaw already knows that they want to be a warrior. They have a warrior mentor for the whole six moons and just receive a smidge of unofficial training from a hunter and scout so that they know enough about those ranks to collaborate with them in the future.

TEAMS:
If you wish to have a pre-established, please let staff know when you submit the character for review, or ask in questions. Teams typically stay the same, unless a character is NPCed/changes rank/etc. If a team doesn’t have enough PC members to make a full team yet, we will provide temporary NPCs! Apprentices will join their mentor’s team and not count towards that team’s total number. Guardian teams: Three members. Scout teams: Four members. Hunter teams: 2 members. |

THE SINKHOLE: While not an entirely favorable space in their territory, there's something to be said about the sinkhole that keeps cautious twolegs from building more of their nests on Bogclan land. This area is difficult to navigate due to its unreliable footing, and the sinkhole itself is rumored to have no bottom. |
CAMP: Here rests the haphazard and weathered remains of an old, abandoned shack, nearby the crumbling tower. This space serves as some shelter from the elements and as Bogclan's camp, nestled into the center of their territory, and many were eager to settle here due to its small resemblance to city life.
THE LANDFALL: This boasts the most solid land in the territory, a bit further from the murky marshlands and tempered by the climate of the neighboring clan. It serves as one of the better hunting spots for the clan and springs of clearwater. THE CANOPY: Perhaps one of the more unforgiving places of their territory - predators are more common here, ranging from swamp gators with too powerful jaws and snakes that strike quick and true it's imperative to remain vigilant. The canopy grows most thick here, nearly blocking out the sun entirely and forming something of a skybridge. With a scarcity of solid ground, cats opt to travel through the trees here, but mind your footing. |
IRIS'S BOG: The biggest of SwampClan's few bogs. It has been named after Irisstar- something that Sheepstar implemented, out of a tiny amount of (controversial) respect for the deceased SwampClan leader. The remnants of a tower can also be found here.

At the end of the day, BogClan cats are Pack cats. They have forsaken StarClan and their true names reflect that. At home, among the Pack, and within their own territory, they use their true names- those that have no prefix or suffix. In the presence of clan cats, they use their false names to blend in.

A BogClan cat must keep the secret of their heritage. To let slip information would put one subject to whatever punishment Glass may choose, with the input of Lesovik. Remember... you have a mission.
